What is the Frugal Pen?

This is my attempt to document my growing experience with the fountain pen hobby (lifestyle?), but on a budget. I am finding that this is a wonderful hobby, and that there are a lot resources out there, but a lot of the blogs and YouTube channels I have found will look at the mid to high end of the range. For example, the most expensive pen I have paid for is US$95, and I like it, but it has problems which keeps me from using it a lot. On the other end, I have a nice pen I paid about US$3.33 for, and it is currently my daily carry pocket pen, even though it is not a pocket pen design. I plan to do a review of them both at some point.

What are my plans?

I hope to walk through my collection (currently at 40 pens) and post a review about what I like and what I wish was a bit different. Be warned, that while I have some from companies which have a great reputation (like TWSBI, Kaweco, and Monteverde USA), a few Kickstarter pens from Ensso, and then from some from countries that you might not expect.
